Design & Drafting Coordinator – Residential | $120k–$140k Super | Revit | WFH 1 Day Location : Eight Mile Plains, QLD Salary : $120,000 – $140,000 Super Work From Home : 1 day per week Job Type : Full-time, Permanent Software : Revit About the Role We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established and down-to-earth residential builder based in Eight Mile Plains, who are now looking to appoint a Design & Drafting Coordinator to lead their in-house design direction. This is a key role within the business as they prepare to launch a retail brand within the next 12 months , focused on townhouses, terraces, and new home designs. You’ll have the opportunity to take the reins creatively, shape the product range, and refine internal design processes — all while working alongside a supportive Senior Draftsperson and offshore drafting team. What You’ll Be Doing Lead the creative direction for townhouse, terrace, and detached home designs. Develop and document new product ranges for the upcoming brand launch. Produce drawings and documentation aligned with NCC, QDC, council, and developer requirements. Collaborate with engineers, consultants, and council to support approvals and planning. Apply a strong eye for design, function, and compliance to deliver high-quality outcomes. Support workflow improvements and contribute to an efficient drafting function. What We’re Looking For Previous experience in residential drafting and design – townhouse or medium-density preferred . Proficiency in Revit is essential. Solid knowledge of NCC , QDC , and related council/developer requirements. Exposure to town planning processes highly regarded. Strong design flair with a practical and efficient mindset. Highly organised, process-driven, and capable of juggling multiple projects.
